Castor Oil

Castor oil is commonly used for deeply penetrating and moisturizing the skin to promote youthful, radiant skin.  It is also used for  hair and eyelash growth, particularly growing thicker, longer, and darker eyelashes. Castor oil also contains antibacterial and antifungal properties making it great for blemished skin.  
 
Castor oil  is commonly used as a detoxifying agent by using directly in the naval area.  Castor oil packs are frequently applied the abdomen, chest or throat areas for deeper detoxification effects and increasing lymphatic flow.  
 
Castor oil is a rich source of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), a special type of fatty acid that has many beneficial properties, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. The fatty acids in castor oil are made up of about 50% lauric acid– the same substance found in breastmilk.
 
In addition, it’s rich in iron, Vitamins E and K, and other fatty acids.
