I use it to clean my house, put it on the bottom of my feet when I am sick, and talk about it to anyone who will listen!!! SO what is this awesome blend of essential oils??
Crooks is our version of the popular Theives*tm blend of essential oils, and it may be helpful to take care of colds, flus, scabies, lice, and respiratory issues. Crooks is a blend of Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary. The essential oils contained within this formula have been noted for anti-bacterial, antiseptic,anti-viral, and anti-catarrhyal properties while stimulating the immune system, circulation and the respiratory system.
The essential oil blend is actually a very old, historical blend. The tale goes that during the bubonic plague breakout in the 15th century (some say, in France), there were four thieves who robbed bodies of those who had fallen victim to the plague (ewwww...!!!). As we know, bacteria and viruses can stay alive on different surfaces and be passed to new hosts... the thieves SHOULD have gotten sick. But NONE of them caught the plague. What was their secret? They protected themselves from the plague using an infusion of herbs in vinegar. Some say that the four thieves were spice merchants, thus their knowledge of the ingredients in the recipe. The four thieves were eventually caught, and in exchange for their life, they gave the king their secret recipe.
Different versions of the story include slightly different herbs, but research on the essential oil blend we use now (Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary), has a 99% kill rate against airborne bacteria when diffused. And there are so many ways to use it besides diffusing the pure oils! We recommend rubbing diluted Crooks on the bottom of your feet, using it as soap, and even spraying it on sheets and other household surfaces!
